Making a Difference

Health Ministries for Haiti is a multidisciplinary, all-volunteer team of healthcare and non-healthcare professionals operating from South Central Wisconsin. By providing the tools, resources, and education necessary to improve infrastructure and healthcare capacity in Carrefour, Haiti, we aim to enhance the ability of the Haitian people to establish and maintain a basic standard of living.

Our  medical missions focus on:

• Conducting medical clinics and providing vital medicines
• Providing education and training for community health workers
• Assessing the needs of staff and children at the orphanage we support

Committed to Caring

However vital and long-lasting, medical missions are only part of what we do. We remain involved year-round with our Haitian brothers and sisters, providing physical, financial, and spiritual support as they work to improve health outcomes and quality of life.

The ongoing work we do provides:

• Funding for clinic operations
• Employment opportunities for Haitian health workers
• Reconstruction of clinic and orphanage facilities in response to the earthquake of 2010
