Foundation Good Samaritan In Action

In January of 2009, Health Ministries for Haiti partnered with Foundation Good Samaritan in Action, a Haitian foundation dedicated to providing preventative and curative care to the more than 70,000 residents of Les Plaines, Haiti.

Providing medical and social assistance focused on improving Haitian living conditions, Foundation Good Samaritan in Action has worked with organizations on the ground in Haiti to:

• Vaccinate over 35,000 people since 2003
• Run an enriched milk program benefitting malnourished children
• Establish a community health education program
• Establish hurricane and earthquake relief programs
• Provide water filtration systems to families, schools, and churches

Operational donation:

The challenges faced by the Haitian people are many and multifaceted.
