Critical Care for a Community in Crisis

immunizationsHealth Ministries for Haiti has been conducting medical missions to Haiti twice a year since 2006, with each mission resulting in an average 600 patients seen, thousands of medications dispensed, and the employment of 10-15 Haitian nationals.

The community health workers we train go on to provide outreach and education to their communities, making a positive difference in the lives of the Haitian people and having a lasting impact on the future of the country itself.

How You Can Help

We are a small nonprofit organization doing enormous work, and our projects have a direct impact on the community we serve. Since it is typically very difficult to qualify for federal grants for the type of work we do — primarily providing operational support for workers on the ground in Haiti — we rely almost entirely on private donations and sponsorships to help us improve the lives of our Haitian brothers and sisters.
