In partnership with the Foundation Bon Samaritan En Action, HMH supports a school of nursing in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. In November 2014, the first group of eager students began classes where, upon completion, will earn four-year degrees in nursing. Students gain knowledge of nursing theory, research & practices, the humanitarian sciences, and natural & behavioral sciences. The school is located on the same campus as the local clinic; providing hands-on learning experiences for the students. The school has the capacity to enroll up to 80 students with two enrollment periods throughout the year. The High Tech School of Nursing is seeking accreditation from the Ministry of Education.
