Health Ministries for Haiti works to build the capacity of its sister organization, Foundation Good Samaritan in Action (FBSA), to deliver high-quality health services to the community. Founded in 2003, FBSA employs Haitian healthcare professionals to provide:

  • Primary Care: outpatient management of acute and chronic disease, illness and injury, and maternal/child care
  • Preventive Medicine: adult and childhood immunizations, family planning, breastfeeding support, and health education
  • Public Health: communicable disease investigation and follow-up (e.g. Cholera), sanitation, and hygiene education

HMH supports these efforts by providing training and technical assistance, continuing education opportunities for healthcare providers, and general operating support.

The clinic operates five days a week, providing desperately needed healthcare, amidst construction to expand and improve the clinic facilities.

“The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that’s wrong with the world.”
